The 41st Annual LSIWC
The Lone Star International Wine Competition is a highly regarded event in the wine industry, known for its rigorous judging process and high standards. The competition is fierce, with over 350 entries from more than 70 wineries. The diversity and quality of wines showcased this year were extraordinary, and we are immensely proud to have stood out among such impressive contenders. This year’s competition was a testament to the growing reputation of Texas as a formidable player in the global wine industry.
Individual Awards: A Testament to Quality
We are delighted to announce that our wines received several prestigious individual awards. Our Marsanne, Picpoul Blanc, Rosé, and “Susan” Red Blend each earned gold awards, a testament to their exceptional quality and craftsmanship.
- Marsanne: Our Marsanne captivated the judges with its aromatic apricot, mandarin orange, and vanilla notes.
- Picpoul Blanc: This crisp, refreshing white wine was recognized for its vibrant citrus and herbal flavors.
- Rosé: Our Rosé provides a lovely, floral character with notes of violets and rose petals, reaffirming its place as a crowd favorite.
- “Susan” Red Blend: This unique blend of Sangiovese and a touch of Alicante Bouschet impressed the judges for its rich, layered flavors and smooth finish.

- “Kate” Red Blend: Another of our standout blends, the “Kate” Red Blend, features tart red cherry, spice, and sweet vanilla characteristics.
